AMBER CAMPBELL

I am currently enrolled in the 3-Year Graphic Design program at Georgian College. It was my love for creating art that sparked my interest in graphic design.

 

Over the years I have completed a variety of design related courses including media and digital photography, painting and drawing, figure drawing and more. I was also a member of the yearbook committee at my high school where I was responsible for the photographing of events, photo re-touching colour correcting, and designing various page layouts. Throughout my years of education I have also gained measurable knowledge and experience using Adobe CC programs such as Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop to create a variety of works including stationery, brochures, event posters, advertisements, promotional pieces and other

design work.

While pursuing post-secondary education I have maintained a part-time job through the school year, and full-time summer employment as Sharpley Source for Sports since 2010, where I have obtained credible knowledge in customer service and communication. My position allows me to demonstrate the ability to work efficiently and productively on my own, as well as part of a team. I am able to follow instructions to produce accurate results and to take initiative when I am required to do so. In my position, I also enjoy the challenge of finding creative solutions to various issues on a regular basis. I love the feeling of executing a plan from start to finish and seeing the results of my effort upon completion.

 

My ever-growing interest in graphic design is what lead me to the decision to pursue it as a career and I could not be more excited about continuing to expand my knowledge and further my experience in the design field upon graduation.
